These are some digital logo experiments that I have produced on photoshop. For these set of images I am trying to develop a suitable logo for my beer label and this is the first stage of developing one of my designs digitally to see what it could look like and where I could take it to develop it further towards the process of designing promotional art for my final outcomes.

 

For this logo I have been experimenting with colour and texture to see how I could develop it. For this logo I have been inspired by Manchester's industrial revolution History with steampunk to give it that sci-fi look which I feel contributes to giving it some character and creating a bold design. In my logo I have added bold figures such as the Manchester worker bee which symbolises Manchester's hard working tradition with the year 2017 as thats when my beer label was established. I have also added a Zeppelin air ship as I am fascinated by the structure of the ship and they where used for political reasons and during world war II for Nazi Germany so I thought it would add well towards my sci-fi/ steampunk side of the project and my  political side of the project such as Thatchers Britain which was a really depressing time for the north west of England.
